KILT
Written by Jonathan Wilson

Esther runs a Scottish Dance School, in Toronto, but things are not very good at present - and her son who was her star pupil has left. Tom has become an exotic dancer in a gay club. His striptease act starts off with him wearing his grandfather's kilt. The grandfather dies and Tom and his mother return to Glasgow for the funeral. His grandfather’s having been a soldier who engaged in a gay relationship in the North-African desert links the play with past understandings of gay identity.
